CREDO Noda Begins Construction: A Landmark in Logistics Development

CREDO Asset Management, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has taken a major step in logistics innovation by commencing construction of the CREDO Noda facility in Noda, Chiba Prefecture. This remarkable project, which exceeds 120,000 square meters, is positioned to be the largest logistics facility operated by the company and is scheduled for completion by the end of January 2028.

Notably, enhanced intersection modifications will enable truck access from both Kashiwa and Kasukabe, thus positioning this facility as a key distribution hub for eastern Japan.

The facility boasts a spacious layout, offering a maximum operational area of 8,076 tsubo on a single floor — a rarity among logistics operations along the National Route 16 corridor in Chiba. With a minimum area of approximately 900 tsubo on each floor, it is adaptable for small-scale use, allowing for up to 26 tenants to operate simultaneously.

Innovative Facility Design

The design incorporates a double-ramp system for direct access to all four floors. The first floor features a ceiling height of 6 meters, ensuring a practical usable height of 5.5 meters for refrigerated operations. Additionally, the design accounts for the energy demands specific to refrigeration needs. Floors two and three can offer climate-controlled spaces, while the fourth floor will achieve a ceiling height of up to 6.9 meters, maximizing storage efficiency.

CREDO Noda will include ample amenities to support both operations and personnel. The facility will have parking for 329 passenger vehicles and a waiting space for 35 trucks, alongside a dedicated truck berth area for permit acquisition. To enhance convenience and comfort for users, employee cafeterias will be located in the north and south sections, along with a rest area equipped with showers for truck drivers.

Accessibility is a top priority; buses run regularly from the nearest Tobu Urban Park Line station, Kawama, to a bus stop located just a short eight-minute walk from the facility. This ensures exceptional commuting options for employees, making CREDO Noda an attractive workplace.
