SAKI KUMAGAI WORLD CHALLENGE 2026: A Platform for Young Talents
The upcoming
SAKI KUMAGAI WORLD CHALLENGE 2026 LONDON Nadeshiko U12 Trial is set to take place on
December 6, 2025, at
MIFA Football Park Toyosu, Tokyo. Organized by
Now Do Inc. and the
Nadeshiko Care Association, this unique soccer competition aims to nurture the next generation of female soccer stars, providing them with international experience and the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
The goal of the event, led by professional soccer player
Saki Kumagai, is to create a platform that maximizes opportunities for girls from all backgrounds, ensuring that talented young players, regardless of their geographic location, can shine. As Kumagai puts it, "We want to uncover hidden talents in local areas and provide chances for more female players."
Competition Format
Unlike traditional 11-a-side games, the
4v4 format fosters individual skill development, offering players more opportunities to showcase their abilities. This new competition style emphasizes tactics, teamwork, and creativity on the field. Top Nadeshiko players will also evaluate the participants’ performances, selecting six outstanding players for the final trials of the
SAKI KUMAGAI WORLD CHALLENGE 2026 LONDON. These selected players will earn an invitation to participate as the
49th team in the national tournament, the 4v4 JAPAN CUP 2025 respect you, au.
Schedule and Teams
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- - 10:00 AM: Registration Opens
- - 11:00 AM: Opening Ceremony
- - 11:15 AM: Matches Begin
- - 3:30 PM: Final Matches
- - 3:45 PM: Special Matches with Nadeshiko Players
- - 4:15 PM: Event Conclusion
For participation, young girls in the 5th to 6th grades are invited to form teams of four; individuals can also register and join the teams on-site. The entry fee is set at

Many renowned former players from the
Nadeshiko Japan team will attend, providing coaching and participating in special matches. Players like
Yukari Kinga,
Ami Otaki, and

In addition to gameplay, participants will receive invaluable face-to-face interactions with these soccer legends, making the event not only competitive but also a significant opportunity for mentorship and learning.
