BAE Systems has recently secured a contract from the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to deliver 44 CV90MkIIIC infantry fighting vehicles. The contract, valued at approximately $450 million, includes not only the vehicles but also spares, support, logistics, and training. This order builds upon a previous agreement made in 2024, which involved the provision of 115 CV90s, bringing the total acquisition for the Royal Danish Army to an impressive 159 vehicles.

This strategic move replaces an earlier program aimed at extending the life of the current CV9035DK fleet, showcasing Denmark's commitment to bolstering its military capabilities. The CV90MkIIIC vehicle is designed to align with the latest requirements of modern warfare, integrating cutting-edge technology that enhances both operational effectiveness and interoperability with allied forces.

The new acquisition guarantees that by 2030, the Army will operate 159 state-of-the-art CV90 infantry fighting vehicles, embodying the latest technological advancements in military equipment.

Equipped with a new turret, the CV90MkIIIC model represents a significant enhancement in terms of design and functionality.
