In this pivotal role, Soni will spearhead the firm’s technology organization, driving advancements in infrastructure, trading platforms, and cybersecurity initiatives. With an impressive career spanning nearly three decades, Soni's background encompasses extensive leadership roles across various sectors including wealth management, private banking, prime brokerage, asset management, institutional trading, and investment banking. His most recent position was Managing Director and Head of Trading at Cresset, where he honed his skills in overseeing extensive trading operations.

Before joining Cresset, Soni was the Chief Technology Officer at J.P. Morgan Advisors. There, he was instrumental in leading a significant modernization of enterprise trading systems and the integration of trading platforms, all while managing a vast array of financial technologies. Additionally, his tenure at First Republic Bank as Head of Wealth Management Technology enabled him to architect comprehensive wealth management solutions that accommodated staggering growth—from $35 billion to over $350 billion in assets.

In his new position, Soni is enthusiastic about utilizing his rich experience to enhance Cresset’s technology strategy.
