Enhancing Global Education at Okayama University through International Cooperation
Okayama University, located in Okayama City, has always strived to foster global talent through innovative educational programs. From April 11 to May 1, 2025, the university welcomed seven students from Kasetsart University in Thailand, who participated in the Spring Short Term Program for Kasetsart University. This initiative emphasizes international cooperation and is organized by the university’s Global Human Resource Development Office.
During the opening ceremony on April 14, Takayoshi Suzuki, the Vice President responsible for international relations and alumni engagements, expressed his wishes for the visiting students to enjoy their time in Okayama and to utilize their experiences for future endeavors. In a reciprocal gesture, Tassanee Juntiya, the Deputy Director for Educational Development at Kasetsart University, highlighted the importance of the program and the strong ties between the two institutions.
The primary aim of this program is to broaden participants' international perspectives while allowing them to immerse themselves in different cultures. To achieve this, students engaged in various learning activities designed to cultivate their skills for thriving in a global society.
