2025 Asia's Best Workplaces Ranking Released
The Great Place To Work® Institute (GPTW) has unveiled its long-awaited 2025 rankings of the best companies to work for in Asia. This edition marks the 11th iteration of the list, showcasing a comprehensive evaluation of employee experiences across the region. A staggering 3.2 million surveys were conducted to represent the sentiments of approximately 7.5 million employees in 14 Asian and Middle Eastern countries, offering a vivid picture of workplace culture and satisfaction.
What is the 2025 Best Workplaces Ranking?
The ranking is based on surveys conducted among employees in 14 countries, including Greater China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Vietnam. The GPTW evaluates workplaces based on two critical aspects: "ease of working" and "sense of purpose," differentiating companies that offer exceptional employee experiences. All selected companies have consistently reported positive workplace interactions from all employees, regardless of their position or employment type, marking them as leaders in workplace satisfaction.
This year, a total of 200 firms made it into the rankings, categorized into large enterprises (over 500 employees) and small to medium-sized enterprises (10-499 employees). Notably, 47 of these companies have receivedGPTW's certification for being a great place to work in Japan, with seven firms making it into the coveted top 10. These firms are not only recognized in Japan but also praised for their outstanding workplace culture across the Asian region.

Selection Criteria for Rankings
To obtain a spot on this esteemed list, a company must be ranked in the Great Place To Work rankings of at least one country in Asia or the Middle East. Notably, the previously separate global enterprise category has been integrated into the large companies category.
To earn recognition as a great workplace, companies must score above a specific threshold based on feedback from their employees, as well as report active involvement in cultivating a positive workplace culture through initiatives such as diversity, work-life balance, and community engagement.
