Rheem's sustainability efforts have notably included a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 55% across global manufacturing facilities compared to a 2018 baseline, exceeding the initial goal of a 50% reduction. This is attributed to several strategic initiatives:

• - Transitioning Refrigerants: Enhancing the efficiency of refrigerants used in HVAC systems.
• - Expanding Renewable Energy Use: Increasing the deployment of renewable energy sources across operations.
• - Modernizing Facilities: Upgrading manufacturing sites to meet contemporary environmental standards.
• - Enhancing Leak Detection: Investing in advanced leak detection systems to minimize emissions.

Moreover, all manufacturing sites involved in the 2019 program have achieved Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) status, underscoring Rheem's commitment to minimizing waste. Facilities in regions such as Mexico, Europe, and the Middle East are utilizing on-site renewable energy, while others in South America and Europe focus on clean energy sources.
