The Latest Addition to BLACKOUT WATCHES: XPE Tourbillon
BLACKOUT WATCHES, a prominent Swiss watch brand, has recently unveiled its latest model, the XPE Tourbillon. This new release signifies a leap in design and functionality, merging sporty aesthetics with innovative engineering. It has been meticulously developed over the past year and a half, integrating valuable feedback from the community through direct interactions in boutiques, exhibitions, and user conversations.
Embracing Evolution with a Fresh Design Perspective
The XPE Tourbillon embodies the essence of the BLACKOUT collection's evolution. Departing from the traditional tonneau-shaped case, this model features a round case that appeals to a broader audience of watch enthusiasts. Crafted from UAC forged carbon, the case not only boasts enhanced durability, but also significant lightweight properties, tipping the scale at a mere 80 grams.
This model utilizes a remarkable material called Luminova forged carbon, which, when illuminated by sunlight or strong UV rays, absorbs light, radiating an enchanting white glow in the dark. With a diameter of 42.5mm and a thickness of 14.8mm, the XPE balances presence with comfort, offering an ideal fit for various wrist sizes.
A Glimpse of Precision and Practicality
The watch's skeletonized dial allows wearers to visually appreciate the sophisticated mechanics of the self-winding flying tourbillon movement, which has been meticulously modified in Switzerland. The movement is powered by a twin-barrel design, offering an impressive power reserve of approximately 72 hours, ensuring both accuracy and reliability. The transparent case back invites admirers to glimpse the intricate movements at play, showcasing the watch's engineering prowess.
Moreover, the strap is made from FKM rubber, presenting a sporty and dynamic look while also ensuring comfort with a folding clasp. The model’s water resistance of 10 ATM enhances its versatility, making it suitable for both everyday use and more adventurous endeavors.
Signature Elements and Aesthetic Appeal
The distinctive case-side screws remain a hallmark of BLACKOUT’s design, complemented by classic Roman numerals that add a fashionable touch. Both the front and back of the watch are protected by sapphire crystals, amplifying the elegance of the movement and dial design.
The XPE Tourbillon does not just retain the DNA of BLACKOUT; it paves the way for new possibilities in design and usability. Born out of community feedback, this timepiece heralds a new chapter for the brand, symbolizing its commitment to innovation and quality.

About BLACKOUT WATCHES
Established in 2006, BLACKOUT WATCHES has garnered a reputation for its success in customizing luxury watches. In 2022, two watch enthusiasts, Étienne and Tim, took over the brand with aims to build a strong foundation rather than rushing out flashy new models. They focused on enhancing customer service, improving overall product quality, and strengthening after-sales support to create a trustworthy brand before expanding the business. Their vision is simple yet revolutionary: to create authentic luxury watches that are accessible to all. Thus began the development of the XP1 Tourbillon, laying the groundwork for their pioneering dreams which culminated in the introduction of the XPE Tourbillon in 2026.
