Love Home Group Home Oita Keyaki Reopens with New Features

The Love Home Group Home in Oita Keyaki has officially reopened following its relocation to a new facility on August 6, 2025. This initiative by Medical Care Service Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Gakken Holdings, aims to provide advanced dementia care and integrate services with the new companion facility, Cocofun Oita Yokoo, which will open on September 1, 2025.

A Modern Facility for Enhanced Care

The new venue is a complex that merges the Group Home and a service-based housing for seniors. This significant project marks Gakken Cocofun's first entrance into Oita Prefecture, addressing current challenges such as rising construction costs by combining distinct senior care services in one location.

Since its renewal in April 2023 via a business transfer, the Love Home Group Home Oita Keyaki has established its commitment to community-based dementia care. This relocation signifies a strategic move that not only modernizes the facilities but also expands the reach and effectiveness of the care services provided.

Objectives of the New Establishment

With the opening of this new location, both Love Home and Cocofun are positioned to offer a one-stop solution for various needs of elderly residents in Oita. This approach is part of the Gakken Group's broader vision known as the "Gakken Regional Comprehensive Care System," which aims to ensure that residents can continue living safely in their familiar community.

The Love Home Group Home Oita Keyaki, which caters specifically to dementia residents with a capacity of 18, offers a monthly charge of ¥141,000 plus care insurance self-payment. This includes accommodation fees, utilities, and meal costs.
