June 27, 2025 to
August 11, 2025 in the heart of Toranomon, Tokyo.
ShiShi Yamazaki, recognized for her captivating animations and vibrant artwork, presents visitors with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in her creative universe. The centerpiece of this exhibition is a collection of new animation works that resonate deeply with her painting and ceramic creations. All exhibited pieces, including the animation, will be available for purchase, making this not just a visual experience but also a chance to own a piece of art history.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be a
media preview on June 26, 2025, from
3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During this time, both ShiShi Yamazaki and gallery director Osamu Ouchi will be present to engage with attendees and provide insights into the artworks. Following the media preview, a
reception will be held from
5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on the same day, allowing guests to mingle and celebrate the opening of this dynamic collection.
About ShiShi Yamazaki
ShiShi Yamazaki has established a unique style of hand-drawn rotoscope animation that evokes a watercolor aesthetic, often characterized by her signature use of vibrant pink hues. Known as
Shishi Pink, this distinctive color palette has made her work instantly recognizable. She has collaborated with prestigious brands such as CHANEL, PRADA, and Shiseido, contributing her creativity to global promotional campaigns. Yamazaki's original animations, including
YA-NE-SEN a Go Go (2011) and
Yamasuki, Yamazaki (2013), have been showcased in numerous festivals both domestically and internationally.
In 2020, she relocated to Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture, to focus on her ceramic art. Her recent work includes the captivating opening visuals for the NHK serial drama
Tora ni Tsubasa, which garnered significant attention. Beyond visual arts, she explores performance art centered on singing, showcasing her multifaceted talents across various venues.
