Enhancing Everyday Life with Traditional Chinese Medicine: A Seminar on Urinary Health
In honor of
“Good Urine Day” on November 24, Krasie Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is hosting its second
“Healthier Daily Life with Traditional Medicine: Seminar on Urinary Concerns”. Set to take place on
October 7, 2025, at the
Hama-Rikyu Asahi Hall in Chuo City, Tokyo, the seminar aims to provide valuable insights into urinary health issues, particularly targeting the elderly. It is free to attend, accommodating up to
300 participants, and there’s also an option for online viewing with a
limit of 800 attendees.
Background of Good Urine Day
Established in
2015, the day is marked as
“Good Urine Day” (11 equals 'good' and 24 equals 'urine' in Japanese) to raise awareness about various urinary issues that often increase with the cold weather, such as frequent urination and nocturia. These issues can disrupt daily life and affect seniors’ quality of life (QOL), as many suffer in silence, reluctant to discuss their problems. The seminar aims to address this stigma and promote better understanding and treatment options using traditional Chinese medicine.
Seminar Details
The event will feature esteemed speaker
Dr. Yuki Sekiguchi, a renowned expert in urology and director of the LUNA Women’s Medical Clinic, who will discuss the causes of urinary problems and how traditional Chinese medicine can offer relief. Dr. Sekiguchi is an adjunct professor at Yokohama City University’s Graduate School of Medicine and is certified by both the Japanese Urological Association and the Japanese Society for Oriental Medicine.
Profile of Dr. Yuki Sekiguchi
Dr. Yuki Sekiguchi graduated from Yamagata University School of Medicine and has since committed her career to urology, opening the LUNA clinic in
