HERALBONY and KOTODEN Collaborate on Art-Decorated Train in Takamatsu

A Collaborative Art Train Takes Flight in Takamatsu

In an exciting initiative, HERALBONY, a creative company based in Morioka, Iwate, has joined forces with Takamatsu Kotohira Electric Railroad Co., popularly known as KOTODEN. This partnership aims to launch a unique art-wrapped train that embodies the spirit of creativity, starting its journey on December 4, 2025.

The Vision Behind the Collaboration

This joint project stems from a shared vision to reshape perceptions around disabilities and promote welfare as a foundation for new cultural creations. HERALBONY upholds the philosophy of "Let Your Uniqueness Shine," while KOTODEN strives to foster a community where everyone can live freely and authentically. The motto of this collaboration, "Happiness Beyond Boundaries," emphasizes breaking free from preconceived notions and encouraging a joyful and colorful future for all.

The artwork featured on the train is crafted by Masato Yamauchi, a talented artist residing in Kagawa Prefecture. His design invites passengers to engage in a moving art experience, inspiring reflection and delight as they travel along the KOTODEN lines. With every glance, viewers are encouraged to ponder, and a smile is a welcome reward.

About the Artist: Masato Yamauchi

Masato Yamauchi hails from Sanuki, Kagawa, and began his artistic journey through an innocent interaction with a support staff member at a facility called Nozomi-en. He discovered his passion for creating vibrant paper collage artworks, leading to a prolific output that reflects his impressive sense for color and intense focus. Recently, Yamauchi has been particularly dedicated to creating pieces using a grid format in Excel, which he meticulously colors in a limited daily timeframe. His unique style and techniques culminate in one-of-a-kind works that are unmistakably his own.

In addition to his artistic pursuits, Masato enjoys listening to music, ensuring his collection is well-organized and reflective of his orderly nature. He thrives in routine, which enables him to tackle his creative projects effectively.
