Rinkai! Anime to Launch Spanish Dub and Attend MANGA BARCELONA
The popular women’s keirin anime project,
Rinkai!, is making waves with exciting news! The series, which is a creation of
MIXI, Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, will begin streaming its
Spanish-dubbed version in December 2025. This milestone will coincide with the project’s inaugural
exhibition at MANGA BARCELONA, taking place from December 5 to 8, where anime lovers can experience the world of Rinkai! firsthand.
Cultural Exchange Through Anime
The Rinkai! series is centered around the vibrant theme of women’s keirin, a high-energy sport in Japan. It focuses on the aspirations and challenges of young female cyclists as they race towards their dreams, while reflecting the compelling nature of competitive cycling. The decision to release a Spanish version of the anime is part of a broader effort to engage more deeply with Spanish-speaking audiences, particularly in light of positive feedback received during last year’s
Japan Expo in France, where many attendees were already familiar with the series.
In the words of chief producer Hiroshi Uno,
“The community interest surrounding the series was greater than expected, and we realized that the local engagements could translate into increased viewer interest. This new Spanish dub and participation at MANGA BARCELONA will allow us to share the essence of our project further.”

Furthermore, plans are in place to expand merchandise opportunities in China, aiming to bolster its global standing in the competitive sports entertainment landscape.
Rinkai! represents a synergy of sport and entertainment, and its cross-national initiatives underline its commitment to broadening its reach and appeal.
