Building a Bright Future for Yokohama Through MEBUKU by Vlag Yokohama

SenseDrive Co., Ltd., based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce its selection for the second phase of the co-creation program, "MEBUKU by Vlag Yokohama." This initiative is designed to foster connections between local businesses and individuals, ultimately driving models for community development based on work experiences.

Background and Objective

At SenseDrive, our mission is to help individuals discover their passions and create an exhilarating society. We believe in transforming the appeal of jobs into engaging experiential content. Many individuals struggle to find what they truly want to do, while businesses fail to effectively communicate the allure of their work, resulting in a significant mismatch. To address this, we focus on providing immersive experiences that stimulate both the mind and body rather than relying solely on traditional seminars or lectures. This approach encourages participants to organically recognize the enjoyment of work through a process we call "sense-making."

We resonate deeply with the "MEBUKU" concept, which aims to nurture new values within Yokohama city. Our plan to develop a community-building model through job experience led to our selection for this program. Through active participation, we intend to bridge the gap between local businesses and residents, accelerating the establishment of our job experience-based community model.

Key Focus Areas of the Project

During this program, we aim to explore the following three areas for social implementation in Yokohama:

1. Content Creation for Experiential Appeal: We will objectively extract the unique value of Yokohama businesses, developing engaging job experience programs under the name "Mitsukeiro," incorporating entertainment elements.
2. Collaboration with Co-Creation Partners: We will collaborate with co-creation partners to implement an open company model that engages the entire community.
3. Establishing a Sustainable Ecosystem: Our goal is to enhance the city's appeal as a place where people want to work, thereby addressing workforce shortages and revitalizing industries through a circular environment.

About MEBUKU by Vlag Yokohama

MEBUKU is a co-creation program operated by Vlag Yokohama, a collaborative business creation facility established by Sōtetsu Urban Creates, Tokyu Corporation, and UDS Corporation, in conjunction with co-creation partner ADDReC Corporation. The concept is centered around "Creating Future Living from Yokohama," aimed at fostering discussions among like-minded business individuals and diverse specialists to advance business initiatives.

Overview of Phase Two

Running for approximately three months from January 2026 to March 2026, this phase will feature mentoring sessions and workshops designed to refine business ideas. The program will culminate in a "Demo Day" in March 2026, where participants will present their outcomes aimed at social implementation.
