Day 1: Deep NiCH KYOTO (July 2)
On the first day, we will hold a BBQ event named
Deep NiCH KYOTO in front of Kyoto Station, targeting entrepreneurs, researchers, and VC professionals involved in startups. This gathering aims to create a casual environment where participants can discuss business commercialization, engage with deep tech startups, and talk about career paths around a warm fire.
Representing Funds Startups will be CEO Hiroshi Maekawa and Principal Mami Ohara, facilitating meaningful connections among startup professionals.

Deep NiCH KYOTO Information
Day 2: Finance Mix Summit
The second day will feature the
Finance Mix Summit, focusing on the diverse funding methods available to startups, including investments, loans, venture debt, and subsidies. Participants, including entrepreneurs, VCs, financial institutions, and supporters, will gather to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and connect.
This summit will host several talk sessions and networking opportunities, including discussions among finance specialists and direct consulting sessions for startups to interact with multiple financial players at once.
Hiroshi Maekawa will present during the talk session from
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM, while Principal Shinpei Suzuki will facilitate consulting sessions at
1:00 PM and 1:30 PM.

Day 2: Venture Debt Summit 2025 in IVS
The very successful
Venture Debt Summit 2025, initially held in February 2025, is making a comeback as part of the IVS side events. This session will feature key players in venture debt, providing valuable insights for startups at various stages, from early to later phases.
A quiz competition will also be held based on the session content, with the winner receiving luxurious prizes, including a stay voucher from NOT A HOTEL. Participants will have the chance to engage, learn, and enjoy a night filled with great networking opportunities.
