The nominees for this particular award are based on chart data collaboration and feature submissions from the popular music charts under Billboard Japan and the 'Vocaloid Collection' event—specifically from its ranking submission project. The assessment period for these midterm results spans works submitted between January 27 and September 7, 2025, evaluated through unique metrics analyzing view counts, comments, and likes across different platforms.

The Best Vocaloid Culture Music Award celebrates works showcasing exceptional creativity and artistry within the realm of Vocaloid music. Last year's award went to the classic track "Senbonzakura" by KuroUsaP, which created quite a buzz.
