Additionally, the device is designed to penetrate through environmental obstructions like dust or rain droplets, consequently minimizing interference to provide detailed point clouds for improved data gathering and analysis over time.

Further enhancing its performance, the Avia 2 utilizes a wedge prism non-repetitive scanning method, promoting high-density coverage while optimizing accuracy. This innovative focus reduces the extent of unscanned regions as scanning time accumulates, generating a more thorough model of infrastructure and boosting small object detection efficiency without the need for supplementary scanning lines.

In terms of durability, the Avia 2 is built with an IP66 rating, indicating robust resistance to water and dust. It can function under a wide temperature range from -20°C up to 65°C.
