His previous roles include serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Appen, an AI data company renowned for its contributions to leading AI research labs and large enterprises. Ahmad's expertise was also honed during his tenure at KPMG, where he was the President and Managing Partner of Digital, overseeing the firm’s digital business offerings.

Prior to stepping into these leadership positions, Ahmad held the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager at Dell Technologies. There, he was at the forefront of developing Hybrid Cloud and High-Performance Computing solutions, implementing AI systems in collaboration with NVIDIA. In a statement, Dave Wessinger, co-founder and CEO of PointClickCare, expressed enthusiasm about Ahmad joining the board. He emphasized that Ahmad's proven capability to scale technology-focused businesses will be crucial in guiding PointClickCare's AI strategies and enhancing clinical and operational innovations for its clients. "As we continue to advance our vision of an AI-first future for healthcare, Armughan's extensive track record will be invaluable,” Wessinger stated.

Ahmad remains active in the tech space by advising C-suite executives on AI integration strategies and investing in AI-first software startups. His current roles include being an independent board director at Flexential, which manages a network of 40 data centers across the United States, and serving as a board director of Trillium Health Partners, a prominent hospital system in Ontario.
