In a significant development for the strategic intelligence sector, Strider Technologies, Inc. has announced that Sue Gordon, a distinguished former Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, is joining its Advisory Board. Gordon’s impressive career spans numerous key positions within the U.S. intelligence community. She served as the fifth Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from August 2017 to August 2019. In this pivotal role, she was a chief advisor to the President and the National Security Council while overseeing the 17-member Intelligence Community. Gordon focused on promoting intelligence integration across various sectors and advancing partnerships and collaborations within the community.

Before her tenure at the DNI, she held the role of Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency from 2015 to 2017, where her initiatives modernized operations and enhanced decision-making processes. With a remarkable 27-year tenure at the CIA, Gordon advanced to senior roles in operations, analysis, science and technology, and support, further showcasing her comprehensive expertise.

Among her accolades, Gordon is honored with the Distinguished Intelligence Medal and the Distinguished Presidential Rank Award, underscoring her authority on strategy and leadership within the intelligence field. Currently, she consults on issues pertaining to global risk and technology and serves as a university fellow, continuing her commitment to intelligence and innovation.
