HiTHIUM Introduces Innovative Long-Duration Energy Storage Solutions at 2025 Eco-Day
HiTHIUM Unveils Revolutionary Innovations in Energy Storage
On December 12, 2025, HiTHIUM held its third Eco-Day event, themed "The Awakening of Energy • The New World," attracting industry leaders and experts in Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) from around the globe. This event was particularly significant as it coincided with the global launch of three groundbreaking innovations aimed at advancing the future of green energy.
Embracing the Future of Energy
The event was a platform for HiTHIUM's Co-founder and CEO, Jason Wang, to emphasize the importance of LDES in transitioning renewable energy from being weather-dependent to a stable and easily accessible power source. Highlighting this, HiTHIUM introduced its "All-Weather Green Power • 135 Lighthouse Plan," a five-year initiative focused on three significant pillars: fostering green intelligent computing, comprehensive deployment of storage solutions, and establishing green power hubs. This plan aims to ensure that the benefits of green energy reach various industries.
Industry Leaders Share Insights
Attending experts included Alex Cipolla, a Senior Analyst from Wood Mackenzie, who shared vital insights on international trends in LDES tech, while Zhihua Liu of Eaton Power Shanghai discussed advancements in high-voltage DC technology and smart power distribution. Their participation underlined the collaborative effort within the industry to embrace a more sustainable energy future.
Launching Three Groundbreaking Technologies
The highlight of the day was the unveiling of three visionary products:
1. ∞Power8 6.9MW/55.2MWh: This represents the world's first 8-hour-native LDES solution, designed for all-weather renewable energy management and ensuring stable power delivery.
2. ∞Cell 1300Ah: A next-gen high-capacity cell offering deep cycling, a service life exceeding 20 years, and enhanced safety features, all while significantly reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
3. ∞Power Solutions for AI Data Center: This innovative solution combines lithium and sodium energy storage to provide a formidable power option that caters to the dual demands of stability and instant energy responses for AI Data Centers (AIDC).
Energy Pathways Addressed
At a dedicated roundtable for AIDCs, facilitated by HiTHIUM's Board Member Dr. Nazar Yi, experts discussed the potential for LDES to be the critical component required for achieving zero-carbon AIDCs. As the demand for computing power soars while energy resources remain constrained, lithium-based LDES solutions emerge as essential to enhancing stability, reducing expenses, and facilitating scalable development in this sector.
During Eco-Day, HiTHIUM, in collaboration with top industry organizations, published the 2025 China AIDC Energy Storage Bluebook. This document provides an in-depth analysis of AIDC energy consumption patterns, BBU requirements, and details the pressing need for LDES within this burgeoning market.
Advancing AI and Energy Integration
In concluding remarks, HiTHIUM's Founder and President, Jeff Wu, reiterated that for energy storage to be competitive with wind and solar, it needs to match these energy sources not just in lifespan but also in cost-efficiency. To realize this vision, HiTHIUM is prioritizing the development of ultra-large, high-safety, long-life cells, and aims to create more integrated and effective energy systems while advancing intelligent manufacturing techniques.
HiTHIUM's Eco-Day stands as a testament to its rapid ascension, currently positioned as the second-largest player in global energy storage battery shipments. As it moves forward, the company is committed to enhancing its technological offerings, forging strategic partnerships, and playing a pivotal role in the transition toward a more sustainable energy landscape in the era of AI.
