Dr. Robinson's journey in the medical field began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), achieved at West Virginia University in 1974. After spending some time as a registered nurse within the Veterans Administration Hospital in Clarksburg, she pursued her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Post-graduation, she honed her skills through an internship at Doctor's Hospital of Stark County in Ohio and completed multiple residencies focusing on General Surgery and Family Practice.
In terms of her certifications, Dr. Robinson boasts board certifications in Osteopathic Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. Her vast experience includes work as a General Surgeon on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana and serving Navy contracts as a Family Physician in states including North Dakota, Ohio, and West Virginia. Notably, from 2017 to 2023, she dedicated her expertise to the Glacier Care Center, a skilled nursing and assisted living facility in Montana.
Currently, Dr. Robinson oversees patient care at Southern Peigan Health Center Clinic in Cut Bank, Montana. Coinciding with her primary role, she serves as a Locum Tenens physician at Oakdale Federal Prison in Louisiana. In this capacity, she addresses a variety of medical needs among inmates, attending to conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and skin disorders.
