The National Data Center is envisioned as the main repository for both citizen and national data. The immutable and transparent features of blockchain technology position it as an ideal solution for ensuring data authenticity and tracking its origins, which is especially vital in high-stakes, cross-sector interactions.

How NDAChain Operates

NDAChain follows a Layer 1 permissioned blockchain model, supported by a consortium of 49 validator nodes spanning both public and private sectors. These nodes include key participants like the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, and reputable enterprises such as SunGroup, Zalo, and Masan.

Key features of NDAChain include:

Moreover, NDAChain encompasses NDATrace, Vietnam's national platform dedicated to product identification and traceability. By the conclusion of 2025, NDAChain will be entirely integrated within the National Data Center and sees plans for gradual expansion to local governments and universities through 2026.
