This board will feature industry veterans Barry Silverstein and David Velasquez as its first members, marking a significant step for the company as it transitions from a technology pioneer to a reliable commercial partner for its clients.

Objectives of the Strategic Advisory Board

The newly formed SAB is set to guide Myrias' executive team in several critical areas: advancing the commercialization and scaling of the company's proprietary all-inorganic nanoimprint manufacturing platform. He joined the faculty at the University of Rochester in 2026, serving as the Director of the Center for Extended Reality after a notable career as the Senior Director of Optics and Display at Meta's Reality Labs. During his tenure at Meta, Silverstein drove efforts to create more compact and efficient visual imaging systems, covering a range of technologies including microLED and laser-scanning engines.

His impressive career includes significant contributions to IMAX and Kodak, focusing on diverse applications of optical systems.
