Potts Law Firm Takes Action Against El Paso Nurse Practitioner

On November 22, 2024, the Potts Law Firm, a prominent national legal firm based in Houston, filed a lawsuit against Ali Ahtesham, a nurse practitioner in Texas, as well as his employer, the Advanced Neurology Epilepsy Sleep Center in El Paso. The plaintiff in this lawsuit is a former patient of the Advanced Neurology Epilepsy Sleep Center in El Paso. The filed complaint alleges that Ahtesham assaulted her during what was supposed to be a routine examination. Furthermore, the lawsuit claims that the clinic dismissed her requests to schedule her appointments with a different provider, raising concerns about their practices in safeguarding patients from known threats. Potts elaborated, "Continuing to employ a predator like this is as atrocious as the acts he committed."

Currently, there is uncertainty surrounding the number of unidentified victims who may have also suffered similar assaults and harassment at the hands of Ahtesham in his professional role as a nurse practitioner. Potts has called for any other potential victims to come forward for a confidential discussion.

This lawsuit titled Graham v. Ahtesham; Cause No. 2024DCV5266 will be heard in the District Court of El Paso County.
