HCMF Group Introduces Innovative Smart Cockpit Technology at CES 2025
HCMF Group, a prominent player in the automotive parts and systems sector, has made waves at CES 2025 by presenting a series of advanced technologies that promise to revolutionize the driving experience. Held in Las Vegas from January 7 to January 9, the event gathered an audience eager to witness HCMF's latest innovations in smart cockpit and body mechatronic systems.
Collaborating with esteemed partners, including AUO, AGC, Inventec, TMYTEK (TMY Technology Inc.), BenQ Materials, and KINPO GROUP, HCMF is setting a new standard for intelligent mobility. Their showcase included a remarkable integrated vehicle control system conceived with Inventec, designed to consolidate various vehicle functionalities onto a sleek front dashboard. This state-of-the-art system boasts an intuitive user interface along with innovative features like a UWB electronic key and wireless charging capabilities, ensuring a modern and user-centric cockpit experience.
In an impressive debut, HCMF also revealed its Micro LED transparent smart window technology, developed in partnership with AUO and AGC. This cutting-edge solution employs high-transparency touch displays that can be seamlessly integrated into rear car windows. The design emphasizes functionality, enabling features such as real-time driving information displays, augmented reality gaming, personal calendars, and rear-view mirror applications. This technology not only elevates passenger comfort but also significantly enhances safety measures during travel.
HCMF further underlined its commitment to passenger safety with the unveiling of its second-generation Child Presence Detection (CPD) system, created alongside TMYTEK. This advanced safety feature is equipped to detect subtle signs of life, such as heartbeats and breathing patterns, within the vehicle, sending immediate notifications to users’ smartphones. This proactive approach aims to prevent potentially dangerous situations involving children or pets left unattended in vehicles.
For entertainment, the company introduced a foldable 28.6-inch ceiling display that leverages JET OPTO's dual-view single-screen technology. This innovation allows rear-seat passengers to enjoy separate content or engage in virtual meetings, thus transforming what was once a mundane aspect of travel into a productive or leisurely experience.
In terms of electric vehicle functionality, HCMF showcased systems tailored specifically for this sector. Innovations included a front hood automatic opening system and a centralized door control unit (DCU) that features E-latch technology, radar-based collision avoidance, and automatic opening functions. These enhancements not only improve convenience but also address safety concerns associated with traditional vehicle designs.
Jeffrey Hsi, Chief Innovation Officer of HCMF Group, expressed the significance of CES 2025 as a platform for the company to exhibit its leadership in smart cockpit and body mechatronic systems. “At HCMF, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology in the automotive sector to enhance both safety and enjoyment in smart mobility experiences for consumers all over the globe,” Hsi stated.
