JOY GROUP Reports Strong Financial Results for 2025, Surpassing $620 Million in Revenue

JOY GROUP Financial Results for 2025

On March 26, 2026, JOY GROUP revealed its financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, demonstrating its robust performance with retail sales exceeding $730 million (5.1 billion RMB) and total revenue surpassing $620 million (4.3 billion RMB). This marks a remarkable 22% increase compared to the previous year, showcasing the company’s commitment to maintaining healthy profitability while continuing its strong growth trajectory.

Expanding Beauty Portfolio

During 2025, JOY GROUP expanded its beauty portfolio across multiple categories and price segments. The company’s flagship brands, including JUDYDOLL, JOOCYEE, and René Furterer, were key contributors to this growth alongside emerging brands like Biophyto-genesis and Foltène, covering makeup, hair care, and skincare sectors.

Makeup Dominance with JUDYDOLL

JUDYDOLL proved to be a major growth driver, with worldwide retail sales reaching over $430 million (3.0 billion RMB), witnessing an impressive growth of more than 18% year-over-year. The brand has claimed the top spot among makeup brands in China for three consecutive years, underlining its popularity and consumer loyalty.

In a strategic move, JOY GROUP enhanced its omnichannel presence by operating 118 standalone stores and expanding its reach to over 30,000 retail locations globally. Meanwhile, JOOCYEE also achieved record-breaking retail sales with an increase of over 15%, selling more than 18 million units of its lip products, thereby solidifying JOY GROUP’s leadership in the makeup sector.

Hair and Scalp Care

In the hair and scalp care segment, René Furterer maintained robust momentum in China, experiencing a growth exceeding 30%. Furthermore, the acquisition of Foltène, an Italian brand specializing in clinically-backed hair and scalp care since 1963, significantly boosted JOY GROUP's scientific capabilities in this domain. This acquisition has reinforced the company’s commitment to clinically driven scalp and hair care solutions.

Additionally, the purchase of Biophyto-genesis, a dermatologically focused skincare brand with 14 years of clinical co-creation expertise, sets a solid foundation for future growth in the skincare market.

Global Expansion Strategy

Building on its strong domestic business, JOY GROUP has further advanced its globalization strategy. In 2025, the company’s retail sales outside China surpassed $87 million (600 million RMB). JOY GROUP expanded its global footprint through both e-commerce initiatives and local retail development, including the launch of three standalone stores in Singapore.

Investment in Innovation

Investing heavily in research and development, JOY GROUP launched over 600 new products and filed for 20 new patents during the year. With R&D facilities located in Shanghai and Milan, the group has significantly bolstered its innovation capabilities.

Leadership Remarks

Allan Liu, Chairman and CEO of JOY GROUP, remarked, “2025 was another year of strong growth for JOY. With a strengthened multi-brand portfolio and accelerated globalization, we are well positioned for long-term, sustainable growth.”
