Envision Energy's Landmark Project in Sri Lanka

In a significant move towards renewable energy, Envision Energy, a renowned player in green technology, has officially launched the 50MW Mannar Wind Power Project in Sri Lanka. This ambitious initiative kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony that was honored by the presence of Honourable Anura Kumara Dissanayake, President of Sri Lanka. Together, these turbines will have a total capacity of 50MW, generating around 207 million kilowatt-hours of clean, renewable electricity annually.

The wind turbines are designed with a hub height of 110 meters, optimizing energy yield while improving project economics. Addressing the unique challenges posed by the coastal climate, which includes high salinity and humidity, Envision Energy has tailored a high anti-corrosion solution for the turbines. Moreover, Envision will provide comprehensive lifetime operations and maintenance services, ensuring that the maintenance standards are met throughout the project's intended 20-year lifespan.
