Business Jet's Expansion: New Hangars Underway at Dallas Love Field

Business Jet's Expansion at Dallas Love Field

Business Jet is making significant strides with the ongoing construction of its latest hangars at the bustling Dallas Love Field (KDAL) airport. As the demand for quality aircraft services surges in the region, the aviation company is poised to meet this growing need through the development of two new hangars, which together will add nearly 70,000 square feet of essential hangar and office space.

Scheduled for completion in January 2026, these new facilities represent Business Jet's 18th and 19th hangars, marking a substantial step in the company's ambitious expansion plans. With this development, the total operational space of Business Jet will reach approximately 475,000 square feet, covering 19 hangars and two executive terminals. This enhancement comes as part of a broader strategy aimed at supporting a wide array of services for aircraft owners and operators, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities, which were recently upgraded in existing facilities.

The design of the new hangars reflects modern needs in business aviation, featuring 28-foot doors specifically tailored to accommodate ultra-long-range aircraft, such as the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 7500. Each hangar is uniquely equipped to support different operational needs: one is tailored for a single tenant with customizable designs and luxurious finishes, while the other caters to multiple tenants, providing seven distinct office and shop spaces that can be adapted to individual requirements. The hangars will also include advanced features like epoxy-coated floors, LED lighting, large format fans, radiant tube heaters, and electric vehicle (EV) chargers, ensuring a state-of-the-art facility.

Chris Wright, Partner and CEO of Business Jet, emphasized the significance of this expansion in a recent statement, pointing out, "This nearly 70,000 square foot project represents the latest in a multi-phased development plan designed to meet hangar and office space demand at Business Jet. Beyond this phase, we're excited to have the capacity to build another 100,000 square feet at KDAL to support future operations." This commitment underlines the company's dedication to providing top-notch support for discerning customers involved in business aviation.

With business aviation experiencing a continuous upward trajectory, the timely completion of these new facilities will position Business Jet to better serve its clients with cutting-edge infrastructure and comprehensive services. As more aircraft owners and operators seek reliable and high-quality service providers in the changing landscape of private aviation, Business Jet is prepared to step up its offerings.
