VIAVI Solutions Inc. has recently unveiled a significant addition to its OneAdvisor 800 family: the 800G transport module. This powerful module is designed to optimize testing for high-capacity networks, enabling technicians to certify and troubleshoot network cabling utilized in advanced applications like AI and cloud computing.

Scheduled for display at the Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) Conference in San Francisco from April 1-3, 2025, the new module positions VIAVI at the forefront of testing technology within the telecommunications industry. It’s compatible with both QSFP and OSFP form factors, which are becoming increasingly prevalent in 800G applications, thereby offering versatility to technicians.

With features like built-in scripted workflows, the new transport module ensures consistent test results across users, a vital aspect in a field where accuracy matters tremendously.
