A New Beginning for Toyo University Cheerleading Department!

The Toyo University Cheerleading Department is buzzing with excitement as they prepare to launch a crowdfunding campaign titled "Give Us Your Full Support for Our Full Yell!" on Spportunity, starting August 15. This initiative aims to gather support for purchasing much-needed cheering gear that has become essential due to the influx of new members.

The Background and Motivation Behind the Crowdfunding Campaign

Embracing the year's guiding principle of "Resonance," the cheerleading department has been on a mission to uplift spirits and encourage victories through their passionate support for the athletic teams. With three divisions—Leadership, Cheerleading, and Instrument—integration of their strengths has always been their forte. However, challenges arose when the number of department members dwindled due to the pandemic's restrictions, temporarily reducing the team to fewer than 10 members across all divisions.

Fortunately, this year saw a revival with an impressive influx of new members, including 4 leaders, 21 cheerleaders, and 8 instrumentalists, totaling 33 enthusiastic newcomers. Now, with a robust team of 71 members, the department is more alive than ever, yet they face a significant challenge: a severe shortage of necessary cheering materials.

To ensure that all 71 members can perform at their best, the department is seeking financial contributions to secure the following essential items:

• - Traditional uniforms for the leadership team.
• - Vibrant uniforms for the cheerleaders.
• - Instruments that will provide dynamic support during performances.

Failure to meet these needs may hinder the department's ability to deliver the best performances and continue to cheer for their athletes effectively.

Therefore, they invite the community to contribute to this mission of maintaining top-tier support for all teams.

- Instrument Division: Acquisition of percussion instruments, drum sets, and tenor saxophones designed to produce powerful sounds that elevate team spirit.
