Karakoram, a unique cinema pop band originating from Tokyo, is excited to announce their upcoming one-man live performance at Shibuya WWW, taking place on Thursday, July 30, 2026. This performance will mark their second solo concert, following their debut show titled “Blanco Skyline” at Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR in April this year.

The announcement of this concert was made during the final performance of their tour, the "Tomei-Hanshin Joint Live Tour 2025: Karakoram Highway,” held today at Shibuya Spotify O-nest. Fans can expect an electrifying evening as the group showcases their evolving sound and artistry at the renowned venue.

About Karakoram

Formed by four university students—a mix of graduates from Aoyama Gakuin University and Waseda University—Karakoram has been making waves in the Tokyo music scene since the summer of 2021. Known for their dynamic blend of alternative beats paired with Sota Ishida's captivating vocals and poetry, the band demonstrates a great range of musical influences. This variety shines through in their songs, where elements of funk, techno, and Spanish styles come together to create catchy and original hooks.

Their stage performances are more than just concerts; they are an experience full of high energy and artistic tension. The band's unique sound is characterized by loop-based music that utilizes complex time signatures, making their sets danceable yet intellectually engaging.
