Seven-Eleven Introduces Special Products for the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival
In a delightful collaboration aimed at supporting the upcoming Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, Seven-Eleven Japan is set to launch a series of six exclusive products inspired by local flavors and ideas from students at Nakagami Elementary School. These offerings will roll out to approximately 430 Seven-Eleven stores in Niigata Prefecture starting July 28, 2023, as part of a long-standing commitment to revitalizing local culture through food.
Collaboration with Local Schools
This initiative sees a unique collaboration with Nakagami Elementary School, where students contributed ideas that shaped the development of these special products. The theme centers around showcasing “local tastes” that resonate with the spirit of the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, allowing residents and visitors to indulge in a culinary experience that reflects the community's identity.
Seven-Eleven has partnered with the Nagaoka Fireworks Foundation since 2017 through various agreements aimed at promoting the festival and its significance. Part of the sales from these special items will contribute to the “Reconstruction Prayer Fireworks Phoenix” scheduled for 2027, highlighting the company's commitment to supporting and uplifting the region.
