Discover the Culinary Creativity of Young Chefs at NEXT TABLE Event in Tokyo

Experience the Future of Dining at NEXT TABLE

On August 31st, Tokyo will witness an exciting culinary showcase titled NEXT TABLE, featuring young and emerging chefs as they present their unique dishes crafted with passion and innovative ideas. Organized in collaboration with Chef's Value and the culinary community nocs, this event promises to be not just a feast for the palate but a groundbreaking experience for food enthusiasts and aspiring chefs alike.

Taking place at Cassolo, a premier Italian restaurant in Toranomon, this first installment of NEXT TABLE will spotlight four talented chefs, each selected for their distinctive culinary aesthetics:

1. Toshimasa Kiriyama - Owner-chef of GROLLA in Meguro, who has journeyed from Kumamoto to Italy for a deeper understanding of home-style cooking.
2. Rina Togami - A creative culinary artist known for her focus on sustainable ingredients and dietary inclusivity, rooted in her experiences across Japan.
3. Yusuke Saito - A food analyst and chef at izuru, known for incorporating local ingredients into inventive dishes that respect their heritage.
4. Yuka Goda - A pastry chef recognized for her delicate yet bold vegan desserts that communicate warmth and care.

These chefs have each dedicated themselves to presenting not merely a dish but a narrative that encompasses their culinary philosophies and sustainable practices, inviting diners to connect with their stories through every bite.

An Unprecedented Culinary Initiative

With the restaurant industry facing unprecedented challenges, including record-high closures, NEXT TABLE emerges as a beacon of hope. The cultivators behind this event, Chef Tomohiro Ogawa and the nocs community, strive to redefine the restaurant business model by fostering young talent and creating spaces for innovation and expression in culinary arts.

Having launched in 2022, Chef's Value and nocs aim to empower chefs through comprehensive education and career support, integrating a nurturing environment for the next generation of culinary artists. The mission is clear: to provide aspiring chefs a platform to shine while offering guests a deeper connection to food and its cultural significance.

This immersive dining presentation is not only intended for gourmet enthusiasts but also for anyone wanting to support the culinary arts, from industry veterans to food product businesses looking to collaborate with chefs. Tickets are priced at 6,500 yen including four courses and a drink, with limited availability for the first 30 reservations.

Through events like NEXT TABLE, we invite you to join us in celebrating the passion, resilience, and creativity that young chefs bring to the table, creating dishes that are as much about the future of dining as they are about the here and now.
