KADOKAWA FAV Gaming Looks Ahead to Street Fighter League Pro-JP 2026
KADOKAWA FAV Gaming, managed by KADOKAWA Game Linkage and based in Tokyo's Bunkyo ward, has officially announced its participation in the highly anticipated Street Fighter League: Pro-JP 2026. This league will showcase teams competing using the latest title from the series, Street Fighter 6, set to kick off in 2026.
The team is strengthening its lineup this season, retaining four talented players from the previous season:
sako,
ryukichi,
fujimura, and
moke. Alongside them, the team will also implement a new organizational structure to enhance performance. A new team manager,
Toyoman, has been appointed, bringing extensive knowledge and experience from his time as a gaming media writer, where he has covered various players extensively. His leadership aims to energize the team and elevate its competitive spirit.
In addition to the organizational upgrades, the team's captaincy is shifting from veteran player sako to the up-and-coming talent, ryukichi. This change is envisioned to leverage ryukichi's wealth of experience gained from recent competitions, enabling a streamlined strategy-sharing approach within the team. The adjustments are aimed at maximizing team potential and focusing efforts to secure the league championship and a spot in the World Championship.
The team will be proudly supported by four sponsors: KADOKAWA, JBL, Sofmap, and Victrix, who will provide essential backing for the upcoming season.
