The 'Chair and Art Exhibition' is set to take place from June 20, 2025, at tHE GALLERY OMOTESANDO, with the collaboration of the gallery and Social Interior Co., Ltd. This innovative exhibition aims to merge art pieces with designer chairs from both Japan and around the world, presenting a space where these elements engage in a dialogue and collectively transform the environment into a singular artwork.

Statement from the Producer

Tomo Kukunochi, the producer of this exhibition, shares a profound insight:

"Beautiful. Comfortable.

The experiences we derive from spaces are shaped by two critical elements: furniture and art. When each is beautiful and comfortable, their combination offers a greater sense of individuality and aesthetic. In this exhibition, we invite visitors to experience the unique beauty and comfort that arise from the confluence of chairs and art."

The exhibition will showcase a variety of contemporary art, highlighting diverse expressions from renowned artists, while also featuring designer chairs that complement the showcased artwork, creating a multi-dimensional space that enhances the charms of both mediums.
