Koto no Ha Bunko's New Release with Mizuho's Theme Song
In an exciting announcement, Koto no Ha Bunko, an artistic label under Micromagazine Co., Ltd., has revealed the theme song for its October release. The song accompanies the upcoming book titled "Waiting at
Hon no Niwa: The Small Mystery of a Share-Type Bookstore in Kichijoji". This project aims to appeal particularly to adult women with a diverse range of literary works.
Meet the Artist: Mizuho
Mizuho has a vibrant history in the music industry. She made her major debut in February 2015 with a girl band signed to Sony. During her time with the band, she contributed to popular tracks such as the ending theme for the anime series
NARUTO -ナルト- 疾風伝 and released four singles along with a mini-album before the band disbanded in 2017. After parting ways with her bandmates, Mizuho moved to Tokyo, where she continues to perform at street corners and live venues.
As a singer-songwriter, she takes pride in writing and composing her own songs. Mizuho can create an entire chorus within a week after establishing a theme, showcasing her productive and passionate approach to music. With a repertoire so extensive that she sometimes forgets her own songs, her work is characterized by catchy melodies and classic pop chord progressions. Her exceptional absolute pitch allows her to harmonize effortlessly, sometimes creating covers within minutes of hearing a song.
Mizuho’s latest contribution, the theme song for Koto no Ha Bunko’s October book, is titled
Turquoise Blue. She is responsible for all aspects of the song's creation—lyrics, melody, and vocals. The song is currently available on various streaming platforms, promising to enhance the literary experience of the new work.
