The General Incorporated Association for Local Government DX Promotion (GDX) has been officially registered as a partner in the "Cancer Prevention Action" initiative, which is being promoted by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, effective January 21, 2025. Background of the Registration

Seminars focused on themes such as "DX in Health and Medical Fields in Local Governments" will also be organized, creating platforms for sharing valuable information that can aid in cancer prevention efforts.

Support for Balancing Treatment and Work

GDX aims to provide digital solutions that help member local governments and businesses implement flexible working styles, such as telecommuting and flexible hour systems, facilitating the balance between treatment and work.

Internal Efforts at GDX

The organization will advocate for its staff to undergo regular health checks, promoting a 100% screening rate for cancer. Furthermore, it will focus on creating a workplace environment where employees feel secure in seeking advice and taking necessary leaves.

About the Cancer Prevention Action Initiative

This initiative, commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, aims to increase the cancer screening participation rate to over 50% through collaboration with various organizations.
