This event, titled "Ichigosan Dou 2026," will run until March 31, offering unique menus highlighting the exquisite flavors of Ichigosan. The launch event was held on January 14th, welcoming popular actress Saki Aibu as a special guest, who shared her enthusiasm for this year's theme: "Crimson Passion."

Saga Prefecture Governor Yoshinori Yamaguchi expressed great excitement, stating that this marks the fifth anniversary of the Ichigosan Dou event, which has significantly expanded its outreach with the highest number of participating stores yet. "Our goal is to spread the deliciousness of Ichigosan further than ever before," he asserted.

Additionally, Yasunobu Kusu, Chairman of the Saga Agricultural Cooperative, shared his optimism for the season. He encouraged everyone to become fans of Ichigosan, while Shinsuke Muraguchi, Chairman of the Saga Strawberry Division, echoed the sentiments by expressing immense pride in the high quality produced by local farmers this season.

Dressed in a striking red dress representing Ichigosan, Saki Aibu joyfully remarked on her involvement in such a delightful event. "It is an honor to be part of Ichigosan's initiative," she stated. Paralleling the significance of this year’s event, Aibu reflected on the past five years in which she has balanced her career with motherhood, noting how swiftly time has passed.
