Venturas Expands Talent Pool with New MOU Signings
Venturas, a leading company focused on matching Bangladeshi IT engineers with Japanese firms, has recently signed new Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with two major universities in Bangladesh: Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) and Daffodil International University (DIU). The agreements, finalized in November 2025, aim to support Bangladeshi students in building their careers in Japan.
Venturas, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, has previously collaborated with various universities. However, the addition of CUET and DIU will significantly broaden the pool of students that Japanese companies can engage with. This strategic move allows Japanese firms to tailor their hiring needs, targeting a diverse range of candidates, from top engineering graduates to those qualified for large-scale IT projects.

Background of the Collaboration
Japan is facing a critical shortage of skilled IT professionals, with projections indicating a potential shortfall of up to 790,000 by 2030. In contrast, Bangladesh produces tens of thousands of IT and engineering graduates each year, attracting international attention for their technical skills, eagerness to learn, and proficiency in English.
Since 2018, Venturas has been actively engaged in bridging the gap between Bangladeshi IT engineers and Japanese companies. The company offers a unique training model, encompassing Japanese language education, business etiquette training, career development support, and job placement assistance in Japanese firms. By partnering with multiple universities, Venturas has successfully sent numerous graduates into the Japanese workforce.
With the new MOUs, CUET and DIU will set up systems allowing students to prepare for careers in the Japanese market throughout their academic journey. This will facilitate greater access for Japanese companies to candidates from diverse backgrounds, while also providing clear career pathways to university students, encouraging them to consider “working in Japan” as a viable option.
