Addressing Supply Chain Challenges

As the global demand for air travel soars, there is an urgent need for new aircraft and their ongoing maintenance. Consequently, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) emphasize the importance of partnering with reliable and cost-efficient manufacturers. Recognizing this gap, SARGAD's initiative focuses on fortifying supply chains and ensuring that India emerges as a competitive player on the global aerospace stage.

By mobilizing a cadre of seasoned executives with extensive backgrounds in aerospace and defense, the project promises to target four primary objectives:

1. Investing in MSMEs: The initiative proactively aims to invest in and modernize India’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to heighten precision in manufacturing.
2. Developing Advanced Capabilities: There is an essential focus on nurturing expertise in producing high-precision components, including subsystems and structures critical for next-gen aircraft and defense operations.
3. Enhancing Access to Global Markets: The initiative aspires to bridge MSMEs with OEMs and other tiered suppliers, thereby boosting their market reach.
4. Establishing Centers of Excellence: A Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Center of Excellence will be created specifically for aerospace components, fostering innovation and quality improvements.
