BTI Wireless Unveils Innovative 5G Solutions at Mobile World Congress 2026

At the recent Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, BTI Wireless made a significant impact by showcasing its latest 5G solutions. These innovative products are designed to cater to the growing demand for more flexible and open network architectures as the world transitions into an era where 5G connectivity is crucial for both enterprises and operators.

With global mobile data traffic increasing, the pressure on network operators to expand coverage efficiently while managing deployment costs has never been higher. Addressing this need, BTI Wireless introduced a portfolio that supports scalable architectures capable of handling multi-band, multi-operator, and hybrid public-private network models. The spotlight of their unveiling was on the Nano Power Digital DAS N3 Plus, a state-of-the-art platform that can accommodate all public and private frequency bands ranging from 600 MHz to 4200 MHz.

The Nano Power Digital DAS N3 Plus supports an impressive twelve channels, each with a bandwidth of up to 400 MHz, making it versatile enough to handle four 4G bands and one 5G band simultaneously. This makes it an ideal solution for high-density indoor environments such as shopping malls, office buildings, hotels, and transportation hubs, where multi-operator coverage and high capacity are critical.

One standout feature of the N3 Plus is its compact design, boasting a mere five-liter footprint that allows for easier integration in complex indoor settings. Moreover, its plug-and-play FTTA (Fiber to the Antenna) architecture aids in simplifying the deployment process and drastically reduces installation costs. Importantly, the hardware is ready for O-RAN (Open Radio Access Network), providing operators the ability to transition into open network structures as the telecommunications ecosystem evolves.

For larger venue installations or wide-area coverage scenarios, BTI introduced its H3 high-power DAS solution, which features output power of up to 46 dBm and supports flexible 4T4R and multi-band configurations. This advanced platform maximizes spectrum efficiency while ensuring robust coverage in challenging environments such as stadiums, airports, tunnels, and vast campuses.

In addition to enhancing its DAS offerings, BTI Wireless expanded its collection of small cells with the nCELL-M4371. Powered by Qualcomm's cutting-edge 4nm FSM200 platform, this integrated 5G small cell includes a built-in 5G gateway, allowing for a streamlined all-in-one architecture. It also supports 4T4R operation, paving the way for speedy and cost-effective deployment across enterprise, industrial, and private network use cases.

Furthermore, attendees witnessed the introduction of the BBU T5100, BTI's next-generation baseband unit tailored for distributed 5G deployments. This unit supports Carrier Aggregation and accommodates up to four cells at 4T4R, with future plans to expand this capacity to eight cells. Notably, the system is in development for dual-mode NR and LTE capabilities to facilitate a smooth transition from 4G to 5G networks.

Over the years, BTI Wireless has consistently evolved its product offerings in response to shifting market dynamics. By promoting hybrid network deployment models, the company empowers enterprises to develop a unified network infrastructure that supports both public and private networks. This architecture also allows for the simultaneous use of Open RAN and traditional RF signals, significantly enhancing deployment flexibility. Through these advances, BTI Wireless is helping to expedite the adoption of 5G technology while setting the stage for the next wave of wireless innovation.
