ANA Introduces Innovative Insurance Products
Beginning April 22, 2025, ANA will unveil its innovative insurance products titled "Tomorrow's Wings" that enable customers to accumulate miles as they secure their well-being. This marks the first-ever venture for ANA into insurance that rewards policyholders with miles, combining financial protection with travel benefits.
The new offerings include both vehicle insurance and caregiver insurance. For every 50 JPY in annual premium payments for vehicle insurance, customers will earn 1 mile; for caregiver insurance, it’s 1 mile for every 100 JPY paid. This unique system not only provides peace of mind during uncertain times but also empowers customers to use their accumulated miles for a range of rewards including flights and daily purchases.
To celebrate the launch, ANA is rolling out a limited-time campaign aimed at encouraging new sign-ups. Details on this promotional offer will be available via ANA’s official website and are expected to provide customers even more opportunities to benefit from joining this exciting program.
With the implementation of these new insurance options, customers can link their policy payments to their ANACard, which further increases their mileage accumulation rate. For instance, a customer who opts for vehicle insurance with an annual premium of 35,500 JPY stands to earn around 1,065 miles upon joining. The ongoing nature of this program allows for miles to accumulate with each policy renewal, incentivizing customers to maintain their coverage while reaping the benefits of the ANA Miles system.
Once a member accumulates 3,000 miles, they can take advantage of the “Weekly Special Travel Miles” promotion, which offers a one-way ticket using fewer miles than usual, making travel more accessible. Additionally, ANA Pay allows for everyday purchases at convenience stores, with 1 mile equating to approximately 1 JPY, blending financial security with savings on future travels.
The "Tomorrow's Wings" insurance products will be exclusively available to members of the ANA Mileage Club, ensuring that loyal customers are rewarded for their commitment. Payments for the insurance can be made using credit cards, as well as several alternative methods for vehicle insurance.
