SERMATEC Expands Its Footprint in Europe with Successful KEY 2025 Participation and New 200MWh Contract in Poland

In March 2025, SERMATEC made a remarkable impact at the KEY - The Energy Transition Expo 2025 held in Rimini, Italy. As a global leader in energy storage solutions, the company introduced cutting-edge products like the EasyCube Series, featuring state-of-the-art systems tailored for residential and utility-scale energy storage applications. The EasyCube models, particularly the 215kWh and 372kWh configurations, demonstrated SERMATEC's commitment to innovation in the energy sector.

The EasyCube 215kWh system is designed specifically for hybrid solar-storage applications, integrating Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) functionalities and supporting direct PV-DC coupling for optimal scalability. Designed for outdoor durability, the 372kWh unit offers robust fire protection measures along with a durable cabinet that meets the IP55 standard, suitable for various environmental conditions.

A major highlight of the event was when SERMATEC achieved the CEI certifications for its EasyCube 215kWh, marking compliance with Italy’s stringent national grid regulations. This certification not only reaffirms the quality and safety of SERMATEC's products but also paves the way for wider market adoption, contributing to the energy sector's transition towards sustainable practices.

Beyond its accomplishments in Italy, SERMATEC has broadened its influence in Central and Eastern Europe by signing a crucial supply agreement for 200MWh of energy storage with a prominent Polish energy developer. The systems from this contract are set to be delivered starting in May 2025, representing a significant step in SERMATEC's commitment to facilitating energy transition and decarbonization efforts in Poland—a country historically reliant on coal but now rapidly evolving into a key player in energy storage due to rising renewable energy integration and supportive regulatory frameworks.

To ensure competitive service delivery, SERMATEC leverages its global supply chain and localized service capabilities, with its European headquarters based in Frankfurt and a manufacturing facility in Spain. This strategic setup allows for flexible delivery and tailored after-sales services that can adapt to the specific demands of regional markets.

Looking ahead, SERMATEC is poised to maintain its global presence, with planned participations in several upcoming trade shows such as Solar Storage Live Africa, scheduled for March 25-27, and Solar Storage Live London on April 2-3, followed by Intersolar Europe from May 7-9. These events will further solidify SERMATEC’s commitment to the global transition toward sustainable energy.

As a pioneering manufacturer in the energy storage sector operating in more than 30 countries, SERMATEC continues to lead the way in delivering advanced energy storage solutions that cater to both commercial and large-scale applications, thereby supporting the global move towards carbon neutrality and sustainable energy solutions.
