Kimmeridge Leaders to Present at CERAWeek 2025

Kimmeridge, a prominent alternative asset management firm dedicated to the energy sector, has announced that its top executives will be featured speakers at the upcoming CERAWeek 2025. This global energy conference is set to take place from March 10-14 in Houston, Texas, and is known for attracting key industry figures and discussions on critical energy topics.

Key Presentations by Kimmeridge Executives
Ben Dell, the firm's Founder and Managing Partner, along with Mark Viviano, the Head of Public Equities, will be sharing insights during the event. On March 12, between 3:15 PM and 3:55 PM CT, Dell will be participating in a discussion titled "The LNG Industry's Next Wave of Growth." His focus will be on the challenges and opportunities ahead in the liquefied natural gas sector, particularly on how to meet the increasing global demand for affordable and reliable energy sources.

Additionally, Mark Viviano will contribute to a panel about U.S. oil and gas production. Scheduled for March 11 from 11:30 AM to 12:10 PM CT, the discussion will revolve around the ambitious targets set by the Trump Administration to boost the nation's oil and gas output by three million barrels of oil equivalent (Boe) per day.

Significant Developments from Kimmeridge
At CERAWeek, Kimmeridge will also highlight the recent achievements of their portfolio companies. Commonwealth LNG, for instance, has successfully obtained conditional export authorization from the Department of Energy for its LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. This facility is expected to produce 9.5 million tonnes of LNG per annum, with final investment decisions anticipated in September 2025 and the commencement of production by the first quarter of 2029.

Moreover, executives from Kimmeridge-backed Chestnut Carbon will also be present. Chestnut, a leader in nature-based carbon removal, has recently formed critical offtake agreements with tech giant Microsoft and automotive leader Mercedes. The company has closed a notable $160 million Series B financing deal, which will be used to enhance its afforestation capabilities and aims to sequester approximately 100 million tons of carbon through sustainable restoration projects.

The involvement of these executives at CERAWeek underscores Kimmeridge's commitment to leading discussions on energy sustainability and innovation, as well as its proactive approach to addressing environmental challenges.
