'Kura', or storehouse, this music bar aims to provide an immersive space where patrons can enjoy various genres including R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Disco, and Soul. The grand opening will feature a three-day celebration starting from
July 31, 2026, with a diverse range of events designed for music lovers and casual visitors alike.
Opening Weekend Events
The Kura will officially introduce itself on the first day,
July 31, with an opening bar event that welcomes everyone to experience the unique ambiance. For those who prefer a more relaxed music environment, this event will be an opportunity to enjoy a fine selection of drinks along with good music, making it an excellent setting for unwinding or mingling with friends and fellow music enthusiasts. The opening hours for this event will be from
18:00 to 23:00, and the entry is
free.
R&B Night - August 1
Moving into the second day,
August 1, The Kura will host its main event,
Kinshicho R&B Night. This exciting DJ event will spotlight a blend of
R&B,
Hip Hop,
Old School, and
Reggae, aimed at celebrating Black music culture. Local talent will take center stage, with performances from renowned DJs including
DJ Waka,
Yve, and
DJ Fourd Nkay. The event starts at
18:00 and runs until
23:00, with a cover charge of
5,000 yen, which includes access to a drink menu - although premium drinks like champagne and shots will be available at an extra cost.
All Mix DJ Party - August 2
The final night,
August 2, will be an exciting culmination with an
All Mix DJ Party. Expect an eclectic mix of music from various genres including
R&B,
Hip Hop,
Dance Classics,
Pop, and
Reggae. Hit-making DJs such as
DJ Chihiro,
DJ KAKI, and
DJ Fourd Nkay will deliver an unforgettable experience as they blend tracks to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed.
Entry for this event is also
5,000 yen, covering the drink menu while customizable premium options remain available for those wanting a little extra.
