Sanmina Corporation's Major Expansion in Energy Sector



Sanmina Corporation, a leader in integrated manufacturing solutions, has announced a substantial expansion of its Energy business by establishing a new factory in Houston, Texas. This cutting-edge facility will primarily cater to the growing U.S. energy market and is designed to manufacture a wide array of high-quality energy products. These include medium-voltage distribution transformers, instrument transformers, and switchgear, with production slated to commence in 2027.

This strategic expansion aligns with Sanmina's vision to enhance its footprint in the energy sector, capitalizing on its core strengths in engineering and manufacturing. Jure Sola, the Chairman and CEO of Sanmina, expressed enthusiasm about the investment, recognizing the rising significance of electric power's transmission, distribution, and storage.
