The Kamakura city landscape is about to change with the introduction of a new neighborhood shopping center, MCUD-HASEKO Retail Kamakura Kajihara. Jointly developed by Mitsubishi Estate Development Co., Ltd. and Haseko Corporation, this shopping hub aims to meet the daily needs of residents and enhance the area's convenience.

Project Overview

Located in Kamakura, Kanagawa, the new shopping center is designed as a Neighborhood Shopping Center (NSC). With a total floor area of approximately 11,900 square meters spread across two floors, it will primarily feature a supermarket and a home center as its anchor tenants. The center is designed for everyday use, ensuring accessibility and comfort for local shoppers.

One of the unique elements of this development is the integration of the symbolic Japanese cherry blossom (Yamazakura), which will be planted on-site. To add to its appeal, the site is positioned close to a new station, the Muraoka New Station (tentative), which is set to open in 2023.
