The Launch of BOLEH BOLEH Ride in Kuala Lumpur
H.I.S. Travel (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the local subsidiary of H.I.S. Co., Ltd., has announced the commencement of its new shared mobility service,
BOLEH BOLEH Ride. This innovative service, which will begin operations on
February 1, 2026, connects major tourist attractions with hotels across Kuala Lumpur, utilizing the
mobi AI on-demand transportation system provided by the WILLER group.
How BOLEH BOLEH Ride Works
BOLEH BOLEH Ride is designed to enhance travel convenience in Kuala Lumpur. Users can simply input their pickup and drop-off locations into the mobi app to receive estimated boarding and arrival times. The need for reservations ahead of time is eliminated, allowing users to request rides during operational hours whenever they need them. The service operates between
10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, ensuring flexibility and ease for travelers.
The service covers over
100 stops, including some of Kuala Lumpur's iconic landmarks such as the
Petronas Twin Towers,
Kuala Lumpur Tower, and
Bukit Bintang, along with major hotels like the
Ritz-Carlton and
Mandarin Oriental. This extensive network facilitates easy navigation throughout the city, providing convenient access to the bustling areas of
Chinatown,
Merdeka Square, and
KL Sentral Station.
AI-Powered Technology for Optimal Routing
One of the standout features of BOLEH BOLEH Ride is its use of AI technology to determine the most efficient routes based on current traffic and request data. This makes it possible for passengers to share rides with others heading in the same direction, creating a cost-effective and efficient mobility solution for everyone. Moreover, customers who book products under HIS's individual travel plan,
Ciao, can enjoy unlimited free rides during their stay in Kuala Lumpur, adding value to their travel experience.
