The company recently announced significant upgrades to its personalized health platform, which serves as a comprehensive resource for employees navigating their health journeys. The platform not only provides assistance for day-to-day health habits but also addresses complex medical needs by offering benefits explanations, care navigation, and access to clinical expertise.
Peggy Sczepanski, the global wellbeing program manager at Dow, emphasized the importance of keeping the platform engaging and relevant as it enters the third year of its operation. Thanks to the consistent support provided to employees across various aspects of their lives, the platform has exhibited impressive engagement rates exceeding 70%. This engagement is particularly significant for those managing caregiving responsibilities or seeking to mitigate health risks such as diabetes.
Innovations in the Personify Health Platform
1. Language Accessibility: In a bid to reach a wider audience, Personify Health has introduced Romanian and Turkish as new language options, bringing the total to 23 available languages. This update means that approximately 20 million users can now access health content in their preferred language, enhancing personalized engagement.
2. New Health Journeys: The platform boasts a plethora of new health journeys presented in both written and video formats. These journeys simplify complicated health behaviors and goals, breaking them down into manageable steps that promote health literacy and foster positive habits. Topics like sleep, stress management, nutrition, and physical activity remain popular, with upwards of 1.5 to 2 million members participating in 2024 alone.
3. Self-Guided Programs: New self-guided journey programs will be available across eight additional topics focusing on areas such as men's and women's health, parenting, and pain management. Collaboratively developed with CaringBridge, a non-profit organization, a unique caregiving series titled “Real Stories from Dementia Caregivers” offers insights and guidance for family caregivers.
