The 29th Library Research Learning Competition: Call for Entries Now Open
The 29th Library Research Learning Competition
The 29th Library Research Learning Competition is now accepting entries until October 7! This annual event, organized by the Library Promotion Foundation in Bunkyo, Tokyo, encourages participants of all ages—from elementary school students to adults—to explore questions that interest them using library resources. Since its inception in 1997, the competition has received over 1 million submissions and has continued to grow, with 123,604 entries recorded last year alone. This year's participants will receive a participation prize, and those with outstanding submissions will be invited to a ceremony in Tokyo, along with additional awards.
